A chord of lenth 24 cm is at a distance of 5cm from the center of the circle find the length of another chord of circle which is at a distance of 12cm from the center

because the length of chord and the distance between chord and the centre are given...and we can easily find the radius of circle...by the Pythagoras theorem...

ATQ...for the another chord ..the distance between the chord and the centre is given ...and the radius of the circle will be same...

so in this way by the Pythagoras theorem the length of chord..

2*5 = 10 cm
