Step-by-step explanation:

given that circumference = 100 yards

circumference = 2 pie r

100 = 2x 3.14 x r

r = 100 / 2 x 3.14 = 15.92 yards

so area = pie r2

area = 3.14 x 15.92 x15.92 = 795.82 yards

Question - A circle has a circumference of 100 yards. Find its area. Use pi=3.14

Answer -

Given circumference of circle =100

2\pi \: r \:  = 100

Then

PIE*R=50

THEN

R= 50/PIE

R =16 approx

Then to find area

\pi \:  \:  {r}^{2}  = area

Then we know pie, r then find area

Area =803 approx
