Answer :

  • Area of the left over aluminium sheet is 4.6176 cm²

Given :

  • Radius is 2.8cm
  • Side is 10cm

To find :

  • Area of the left over aluminium sheet

Solution :

Given that,

  • Side is 10cm
  • Radius is 2.8

According to Question

  • The area of the left over aluminium sheet = Area of the square - Area of circle

Where , Area of square is a² (side = 10cm) and area of circle is πr² (Radius = 2.8cm) and also Given 3.14 so,

a² - πr²

》(10)² - 3.14 × (2.8)²

》20 - 3.14 × 7.84

》20 - 24.6176

》4.6176 cm²

Hence, Area of the left over aluminium sheet is 4.6176 cm²
