Given:

  • Radius of the circle = 2 cm
  • Side of the aluminium sheet = 6 cm.

To Find:

Area of the left over aluminium sheet.

Solution:

Area of the square shaped sheet = (Side)^{2} = (6)^{2}  = 36cm^{2}

Area of the circle = 3.14  \times 2 \times 2 = 12.56cm^{2}

Remaining area of sheet = 36-12.56= 23.44cm^{2}

\boxed{Remaing \: area \: of \: sheet \: is\: 23.44cm^{2} }
