Answer:

Given:

A circuit has been provided.

Battery voltage = 6V.

Resistances =

  • 5 ohm
  • 10 ohm
  • 7 ohm

To find:

Total current in the circuit

Calculation:

First find out the total resistance .

5 ohm and 10 ohm are in parallel, so their combination :

1/R" = 1/5 + 1/10

=> 1/R" = 3/10

=> R" = 10/3 ohm.

Again this combination is in series with 7 ohm.

So Net resistance

R eq. = R" + 7

=> R eq. = 10/3 + 7

=> R eq. = 3.33 + 7

=> R eq. = 10.33 ohm.

So current in the circuit

I = V/(R eq.)

=> I = 6/(10.33)

=> I = 0.58083 amperes.

So final answer is 0.58083 amperes.

• BATTERY IS 6V.

•THREE RESISTORS

1)5 ohm.

2)10ohm.

3)7ohm.

CURRENT.

5 Ohm and 10 Ohm in parallel .

 \frac{1}{r'} =  \frac{1}{5} +  \frac{1}{10}  \\  \frac{1}{r' } =  \frac{10}{3} ohm.</p><p>

given:- 7 Ohm resistor connect in series.

R (eQ) =10/3+7

R(eq)=3.33+7

R(eq)=10.33ohm.

USING OHM'S LAW,

I=V×R"

I=6/10.33

I=0.58A.
