on various places of india tribal community supported mahatma gandhi like in andhra pradesh tribals of gudem hill supported ideas of mahatma gandhi under the leadership of allury sitaram raju . raju was a great follower of gandhi ji but he did not beleive in the idea of gandhi ji of non violence. he motivated tribals to give up drinking and to wear khadi, because this tribal peoples are restricted to enter in forest without permission of britishers. under the leadership of raju tribal people looted police stations and killed various police officers. but finally raju was killed by britishers in 1924.

Alluri Sitaram Raju was the tribal chief from the gudem hills of Andhra Pradesh. In the early 1920s, he originated militant guerrilla Movement by urging the soldiers and armed civilians to use military tactics including pitfalls, demolition, assaults and hit-and-run tactics against the britishers.
