a circuit consisting of resistance of 16ohm , 22ohm , 8ohm respectively are joined in parallel is connected in series with a resistance R. determine the value of equivalent resistance of the circuit. ​

=1/R1 equivalent=1/16+1/8+1/22

Now the R is connected in series with this so for series connection R2 equivalent= R1+R

R2 equivalent = 176/41+R (since R1 is equal to=176/41)

on solving equation we get R2 equivalent=(176+41R)/41 ohm...
