A circular flower garden has an area of 314m square. A sprinkle at the centre of the garden can cover an area that has a radius of 12m. Will the sprinkle water the entire garden? ( Take pi = 3.14 )........

Find the radius of the garden:

Area = πr²

Given that the area is 314 m²

314 = 3.14r²

r² = 100

r = √100

r = 10 m

The radius of the garden is 10m

The radius of area covered by the sprinkler = 12 m

Therefore the sprinkle can cover the whole garden....
