Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius of the fountain = 10 ÷ 2 = 5 feet

Area of the fountain = πr² = π(5)² = 25π ft²

Radius of the fountain and the walkway = 5 + 3 = 8 feet

Area of the fountain and the walkway = πr² = π(8)² = 64π ft²

Area of the walkway = 64π - 25π = 39π = 122.52 ft²

Answer: 122.52 ft²
