we have radius of circular park = 84/2 m
= 42 m

area of circular park (A) = 22 / 7 × 42 ^ 2 m^2
= 5544 / 7 m^2

radius of circle including the path and circular park = 42 + 8 m
= 50 m

area of the circle (a) = 22/7 × 50 ^ 2 m^2
= 55000 / 7 m^2

therefore area of the path
= a - A
= 5544 / 7 - 55000 / 7 m^2
= (5544 - 55000) / 7 m^2
= 2313.14286 m^2
