Area of the road=
π16^2-π12^2
=π(16+12)(16-12)
=(22/7)×28×4
=22×4×4=352cm^2

given \: r = 12 \\ area = \pi {r}^{2} \\ = 22 \div 7 \times 12 \times 12 = 452.16 \\ r 2 = 4 + 12 = 16 \\ area = \pi {16}^{2} = 803.84 \\ rea \: of \: road = larger \: area - smaller \: area \\ = 803.84 - 452.16 = 351.68
