Width of Path = 7  cm & Area of Path = 462 cm²

if  outer and inner circumferences of the path are 88cm and 44 cm respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Outer Circumference  = 88 cm

inner Circumference = 44 cm

Circumference = 2πR

π = 22/7

2 * 22/7   * outer Radius  = 88

=> Outer Radius = 14  cm

2 * 22/7   *Inner Radius  = 44

=> Inner Radius = 7  cm

Width =  Outer Radius - Inner Radius

=> Width of Path = 14 - 7 = 7  cm

Width of Path = 7  cm

Area of Path = outer Area - inner area

= π 14²  - π 7²

= π * 21 * 7

= 22 * 21

= 462 cm²

Area of Path = 462 cm²

\huge\tt{AnsweR}

88 cm = outer circumference.

44 cm = inner circumference.

2 πr = circumference.

π is equal to 22 / 7

2 × 22 / 7 × 88

= 14 cm = outer radius.

2 × 22 / 7 × 14

= 7 cm = inner radius.

14 - 7 = 7

= 7 cm

= π 14² / π7²

= π × 21 × 7

= 22 × 21

= 462 cm²
