area including grass path =
\pi \times 25 \times 25
area excluding grass path=
\pi \times 20 \times 20
area of grass path =
\pi(625 - 400)
=
225\pi
=
 \frac{225 \times 22}{7}
=707.14

Heya!!

Here's your answer !!

The radius of the inner circle, which is a pond, is 20 m and the radius of the outer circle is 20m + 5m, i.e., 25 m, as it includes the path.

we have to find the area of the path, i.e., of the annulus thus made.

Area of the path = πR² - πr²

= π (R + r) ( R - r)

= 22/7 (25 + 20) (25 - 20) m

= 22/7 × 45 × 5 = 4950/7

= 707.14 m²

Glad help you
