A circular ring outside dia 8cm and inside dia 6cm what should be the area

Hi,


Here's the solution :-


Diameter of outer circle = 8 cm


=> Radius of outer circle = 4 cm


Diameter of inner circle = 6 cm


=> Radius of inner circle = 3 cm



Area of circular ring =


Area of outer circle- Area of inner circle


= 2π × 4 - 2π × 3


= 2π ( 4-3)


= 2π (Ans)
