circumference of a circle = π d

here , d = 35 m

so circumference of a circular swimming pool = 22/7 × 35

= 22 × 5

= 110 meter

Given :-

  • Diameter of the Pool = 35m

 \\

To Find :-

  • Circumference of the pool

 \\

Solution :-

❍ As we know that Circumference of the Circle is given by 2πr where r stands for Radius. We also know that Diameter = 2 × Radius so Firstly we will find the Radius of the Pool then we will find the Circumference of the pool.

⟼⠀⠀ Diameter = 2 × Radius

⟼ ⠀⠀35 = 2 × Radius

⟼ ⠀⠀35/2 = Radius

17.5m = Radius

Putting the Values in Formula :

➞ Circumference of Circle = 2πr

➞ Circumference of Circle = 2 × 22/7 × 17.5

➞ Circumference of Circle = 44 × 17.5/7

➞ Circumference of Circle = 770/7

➞ Circumference of Circle = 110m

Thus, Circumference of the pool = 110m
