Given :-

Diameter of a circular well = 2m

Height of a circular well = 14m

Solution :-

Diameter = 2m

Radius = D/2 = 2/2 = 1 m

Height = 14m

The value of π = 22/7 or 3.14

• Volume of cylinder

 =  \: \pi {r}^{2}h \:

Put the required values ,

= 22/7 * 1 * 1 * 14

= 22 * 1 * 2

= 44 cm^3

Hence , The volume of earth dug out is 44 cm^3

Radius=½Diameter

Radius of circular well = 1 m

height/depth of well = 14 m

 \sf \: volume \: of \: cylinder = \pi {r}^{2} h \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {1}^{2}  \times 14 = 44 \:  {m}^{3}

Volume of earth dug out =44 m³
