area of circle= area of square

area of circle= pi r2

=22\7×14×14

=616

area of square = x sq (x2)

hence,616=x2

x= √616

Given :

Radius of circle = 14 cm

A circular wire is bent in the form of square

To Find :

Find the side of square

Solution:

Radius of circle = 14 cm

Circumference of circle =2 \pi r = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 =88 cm

We are given that a circular wire is bent in the form of square

Perimeter of square =4 \times Side

So, 4 \times Side = 88

Side = \frac{88}{4}=22 cm

Hence The side of square is 22 cm
