ATQ, the same circular wire of radius 42cm is bent in the form of rectangle.

therefore circumference of the circle = perimeter of the rectangle

circumference of the circular wire = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 42

= 44 × 6

= 264cm

therefore the perimeter of the rectangle is also 264cm.

given the ratio between the sides of the rectangle is 6 : 5

let the sides be 6x and 5x.

therefore 2 ( l + b ) = 264cm

==> 2 ( 6x + 5x ) = 264cm

==> 11x = 264/2

==> 11x = 132

==> x = 132/11

==> x = 12

hence, the Length of the sides are :-

6x = 6 × 12 = 72cm and 5x = 5 × 12 = 60cm

therefore the smaller side of the rectangle is 60cm.

HOPE THIS HELPS..!!
