Step-by-step explanation:

If the diameter of the. "A circus tent is cylindrical upto a height of 3m and conical above it. If the diameter of the base is 105m and the slant height of the conical part is 53m, find the total canvas used in making the tent."

Answer:

height cylinder part of the tent = 3m

radius of cylindrical part = 105/2 = 52.5m

therefore, lateral surface area of the cylinder =

2πrh

= 44/7 × 52.5 × 3

= 44 × 7.5 × 3

= 990m²

now, slant height of the conical part = 53m

radius = 52.5m

= πrl

= 22/7 × 52.5 × 53

= 22 × 7.5 × 53

= 8745m

therefore, total = 990+8745

= 9735m²

Now , as it's not given in Question, that there is a floor or not. If there isn't then the above Answer is correct ↑

If there is , then total = founded area + area of the base

area of base = πr²

= 8662.5

therefore, total = 9735+8662.5

= 18397.5 m²

hope it helped !! :)
