A cistern can be filled by an inlet pipe in 6 hours and amptied by an outlet pipe in 10 hours both the pipe are opended after 3 hours the outlet pipe is closed how much time will the inlet pipe take to fill up the remaining part of the tank.

in 1 hour the pipe empties 1/10 of the cistern
(1/6-1/10)=6-10/60
