(i) Percentage of girls = 20/50 × 100 = 40%

(ii) Percentage of boys = 30/50 × 100 = 60%

(iii) Boys/Girls × 100 = 30/20 × 100 = 150%

Answer:

part 1

  1. number of boys = 30
  2. number of girls = 20
  3. total number of students = 20+30 =50

Step-by-step explanation:

percentage = number of boys ÷ total number of students × 100

= (30÷50)×100

=3÷5×100

=3×2

=60%

part 2

  • so , total percentage of students is 100%
  • percentage of boys is 60%
  • percentage of girls=total percentage of students - percentage of boys
  • percentage of girls = 100% - 60%

= 40%

part 3

percentage of number of boys as compared with number of girls = 60:40

=6:4
