A class of boys stands in a single line, One boy is 19th in order from both the ends, How many boys are there in the class ?

19 + 18 = 37 boys total

There are 37 boys in the class. (Option A)

• From the first end,the boy is 19th.So,the total boys from this end (until that boy) is obviously 19.

• From the first end,the boy is also 19th.So,the total boys from this end (until that boy) is also 19.

Total boys = (19+19) = 38

Now, calculating from both ends,we calculated that boy for two times.

So,the actual number of boys = (38-1) = 37 (answer)
