A class teacher was calling out the marks obtained by 20 students in a class which sat for

an examination one week earlier. The exam was out of 10 and he said that lowest mark

obtained is 0 and highest marks obtained is 10. After calling out the marks he found that

1 student got 10, 5 students got 9, 3 students got 8, 4 students got 7 4 students got 5, 2

students got 3 and 1 student got 0. The teacher was about to leave the class when he

called out the name of Sumit and told him that he got 8 and not 7.

i)What is the range of the class?

ii)Difference between the correct and incorrect mean

iii) Find the median

iv) Will the mode be changed due to Sumit's change of marks?
