Given : A class XI student Suresh performs an experiment to measure the volume of a room (Interior).

He measures the inner dimensions as 3.0 m, 4.00 m and 5.00 m.

To Find : The volume of the room with correct significant figure is

Solution:

Dimensions

3.0  m   ( significant figures 2 )

4.00  m   ( significant figures 3 )

5.00  m   ( significant figures 3 )

Volume = Length * breadth * height

=> Volume = 5.00 * 4.00 * 3.0

=> Volume =  60.00   m³

up to 3 significant figures  60.0  m³

Volume is  60.0  m³
