"t' = t / √ ( 1 - v ² / c² ) ......................... t' = time from clock's perspective, t = our time √ ( 1 - v ² / c² ) is called Lorentz Factor.. t' = t / √ ( 1 - ( 0.9c )² / c² ) t' = t / √ ( 1 - 0.81c² / c² ) t' = t / √ ( 1 - 0.81 ) t' = t / √ 0.19 t' = t / 0.436 t = 0.436 t' t / t' = 0.436 It says, the time elapsing for us is 0.436 second per every second elapsed on the moving clock" .
