national party should have a recognition in 3 or above states. whereas regional party is not.

They aim at having their rule at the centre as well as the state EG :BJP CONGRESS
on the other hand regional parties are those partirs who belong to a particular region and not to the nation . they also aim at having their rule over the state to which they belong .
