We know that,

Area of closed cylinder= Curved surface area of cylinder + 2 (area of circle)

= 2πrh + 2( {\pi \: r \: })^{2}

= 2πr(r+h)

Area of closed cylinder = 2πrh(r+h)

Here,

π= 22/7

Radius = 7m

Height = 3m

Substituting the values in the formula, we get,

= 2×22/7×7(7+3)

= 2×22(10)

= 44×10

=  {440cm}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Area of closed cylinder= Curved surface area of cylinder + 2 (area of circle)

= 2πrh + 2( {\pi \: r \: })^{2}2(πr)

= 2πr(r+h)

Area of closed cylinder = 2πrh(r+h)

Here,

π= 22/7

Radius = 7m

Height = 3m

Substituting the values in the formula, we get,

= 2×22/7×7(7+3)

= 2×22(10)

= 44×10

={440cm}^{2}
