The question is based on Faraday's and Lenz's electromagnetic induction

Loops of coil = N= 500 (Given)

Side = L= 10cm

Ф= NB.A = nBAcosθ

where θ = 0°

Therefore,

|e| =N(ΔB/Δt).Acosθ

=500×1×(10×10 raise to the power −2)²cos0

=5V.

Hence the induced e.m.f will be 5.0V
