Initial extension in the spring is 6 m,
Initial energy = 1/2 kx^2
Initial energy = 1/2 × 200 × 6^2
Initial energy = 3600 J
Upto reaching point A, this energy is converted to kinetic energy,
1/2 mv^2 = 3600 J
mv^2 = 7200 J
Normal reaction exerted on track by collar is-
N = mv^2 / r
N = 7200 / 5
N = 1440 N
Normal reaction exerted on track by collar is 1440 N
