A colourless crystalline solid ‘B’ dissolved easily in water. On addition of dilute HCl to the aqueous solution of ‘B’, no change was observed. When NaOH was added to the aqueous solution of ‘B’, a white ppt was obtained that dissolved in excess, giving a colourless solution. ‘B’ is :
