A commander wants to arrange his soldiers in such a way that the number of row is equal to the number of columns. If the total number of soldiers is 2800, find how many soldiers would be left out in this arrangement? Also, find the number of rows in the arrangement.

Total no of soldiers - no. of soldiers remaining

= 8341-60

=8281

Thus, (no.of rows)^2=8281

= No.of rows= √8281

= No.of rows= 91

So the no.of soldiers in each row is 91 as no.of columns and no. of rows are same.
