A company increased the monthly salary of its employees by 20%. If an employee gets Rs 6000 now, find his previous salary.

Answer

20% = Percentage increased.

120% = Total persentage.

Hence,

= 6,000 / 120 × 100

= 60,000 / 12

= 5,000

Therefore , 5,000 his previous salary.
