B. 315

C. 310

D. 300

Answer:

A. 316

Let in the mixture of x liters, quantity of alcohol=(2/100)*x=x/50 liters.

When 10 liters of alcohol is added, quantity of mixture= (x+10) liters and

Quantity of alcohol=10+ x/50 liters.

So % of alcohol in new mixture= (10 + x/50)/(x+10) = 5/100

=>100(500+x) = 250(x+10)

=> 2(500+x) =5(x+10)

=> x= 950/3= 316.66 ~ 316 liters.
