A company's product development division has 60 employees. Of these, one third are engineers. If 40% of the engineers are moved to another division, how many engineers will remain in the product development department?

The number of engineers in the division are :

1/3 × 60 = 20 engineers

40% are moved.

The remaining are 60%

This equals to :

60/100 × 20 = 12

The remaining is 12 engineers.
