The modern telephones usage is quite underrated in this twenty-first century generation of ours. Not many people give thought to it, but the telephone is one of the most convenient and widespread invention in the world. Even our smartphones have been based on the improvement of the telephone. Each and every call we make travels hundreds of meters, and maybe even kilometers to reach to the person we wish to talk to. Though nowadays, it takes only seconds to talk to others around the globe, the telephones complex systems, which run through the network are never seen, or thought of. If we still relied on the post and other such methods to convey notices of urgent importance, then maybe the said message will reach the reciepant after the crisis, causing many problems. The telephone paved the way for voice-recognition technology used by the police, and even the speakers and television sets. It serves as a foundation for the  economy and also helps many organisations commerce and connect world wide. Without this invention, not only the economy, but the whole world may have suffered a setback.
