◆ Explanation -

Moles of supposed compound are -

n(X) = 22.4 / 22.4 = 1 mol

Moles of oxygen are -

n(O2) = 112 / 22.4 = 5 mol

So in combustion reaction, 1 mol of compound reacts with 5 mol of O2.

Only compound that balances such reaction is C3H8. So now reaction will be -

C3H8 + 5 O2 --> 3 CO2 + 4 H2O
