Write the equation of the chemical reactions of formation of Y and also write the role of sulphuric acid in the reaction

Compound X is ethane (C2H5OH) .
Compound Y is ethene(C2H4).
C2H5OH + coc. H2SO4 ==> C2H4 + H2O
conc. H2SO4 reacts as dehydrating agent.

Gas Z is Hydrogen. 2Na + 2C2H5OH ==> 2C2H5O Na + H2.
