A concave is a part of sphere of radius 40 cm. What is the focal length of mirror

THE focal length of the concave mirror is 20 cm .

Moreover

See as the distance between pole and center of curvature that is radius is 40.

And the focal length is the distance between pole and focus

So it will be 40/2

Hence 20 is the answer.
