Show that the points A(1,2) B(-1,16) and C(0,-7) lie on the graph of the linear equation y=9x-7​

Given,

y= 9x-7

For A(1,2)=(x,y)

2= 9(1)-7 = 2

For B(-1,16)

-16 = 9(-1)-7= -16

For C(0,-7)

-7= 9(0)-7= -7

Hence the all points satisfies the equation ,it lies on the graph of linear equation y= 9x-7 .

Note:

If points lies on the line of graph then coordinates satisfies the equation
