1/f=1/v - (-1/u)

1/15=1/2u + 1/u

1/15= 1+2/2u

1/15= 3/2u

2u = 15*3

u = 45/2 = 22.5 cm(position of object)

shalini110899: But given answer -7.5cm
Udeesha: I'll let u know
Udeesha: i m sorry i did not see that its a concave lens
Udeesha: formula will be -1/f = -1/v -(-1/u)
Udeesha: u will get 7.5
leeseungsarik: thank u
Udeesha: welcome:g
