induced emf = -d(phi)/dt = -d(B*A)/dt = -A dB/dt =-A*Bi*alpha
A =pi*r^2

Given :

B = Bi + αt

To find :

The Emf induced in the ring

Solution :

  • Emf induced in the ring is given by the formula

       E = -(d∅/dt)

  • E = -d(AB) / dt       [∅=AB]
  • E = - A dB/dt
  • E =  (πr²)× d(Bi+αt)
  • E = πr² ×α
  • E = πr²α

The emf induced in the ring is πr²α
