resistance is directly proportional to length of the wire

hence

(3.75/85)=(x/510)

x= (3.75/85)*510

x= 22.5 ohms

Answer:

length1 =85 cm and L2 is 510 cm

resistance 1 is 3.75 ohm and R2 is ?

since r1 is proportional to L1

similarly for R2 is proportional to L2

therefore r1/R2 =L1/ L2

3.75/85510/R2

R2=510x85/3.75

therefore R2=22.5ohm
