Diameter of pit = 3.5 m

Radius =

  \frac{35}{20}  =  \frac{7}{4}

Height = 12 m

 \colorbox{orchid}{volume \: of \: cone = }{\frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2} }h

 =  \frac{1}{3} \pi (\frac{ {7}^{2} }{4})   \times 12

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{4}  \times  \frac{7}{4}  \times 4

 \frac{77}{2}

\colorbox{yellow}{volume} \:  = 38.5 \:  {m}^{2}

In kilolitres = 38.5 kilometers

= 38.5 kl
