HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:-

Area of its base = 154cm²

height = 24m

now,

22/7 × radius² = 154cm²

radius²=49

radius of the cone = 7

so, l² = h² + r²

l² = 24² + 7²

l² = 576 + 49

l² = 625

l = 25m

canvas required = curved surface area of the cone = 22/7 * 7 * slant height

= 22/7 * 7 * 25

= 22 * 25

= 550m²

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS

GIVEN:-

Area of a floor of a conical tent (base)= 154 m²

Height of a conical tent= 24 m

Area of a base of a conical tent = πr²

154= 22/7 × r²

r² = (154 × 7)/22

r² = 7 × 7

r =√7×7

r = 7 m

radius of the cone = 7 m

slant height of cone,  l =√ h² + r²

l = √24² + 7²

l = √576 + 49

l = √625

l = 25 m

Canvas required for the tent = curved surface area of the conical tent = πrl

C.S.A of the conical tent = 22/7 × 7 ×25

= 22 × 25 = 550 m²

C.S.A of the conical tent = 550 m²

Hence, the canvas required for the tent = 550 m²

HOPE THIS ANSWER WILL HELP YOU….
