Let the cylinder is filled till height h cm

Volume of cone = volume of cylinder of height h

\Rightarrow \big( \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2}h \big)_{cone}= \big(\pi {r}^{2} h \big)_{cylinder} \\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{1}{3} \times \pi \times {5}^{2} \times 24 = \pi \times {10}^{2} \times h \\ \\ \Rightarrow h = \frac{\pi \times {5}^{2} \times 24 }{3 \times \pi \times {10}^{2} } \\ \\ \Rightarrow h =2 \: \: cm

it will rise up to 2 cm
