A constant force acting on 5 kg mass changes its velocity from 4 m/s to 10 m/s in 3 seconds. Determine the magnitude of the force.

acceleration= v-u/t
                   = 10-4/3
                   = 6/3
                   =2
magnitude of force = a*m
                               = 2*5
                               =10N

acceleration = ( final velocity-initial velocity)/time taken
= ( 10 - 4)/3 = 2 m/s²

Now,
Force = mass × acceleration
= 5 × 2 = 10 N
