why are people called as resource

Peoples are called as resource because if 1 day all the peoples in the world finishes off then we wont have anyone in the world.So they can be compared to resources.

2) It is people with their demands and abilities that turn them into 'resources '.

That 's why they are called the Resource.Humans have the knowledge, skill and the adequate technology to make the maximum utilization of the resources around us. Humans are not only able to utilize and make proper use of resources but even search for new ones. With training and education humans become capable enough to create more resources.
