A constant force acts on an object of mass 5 kg for a duration of 2 second it increases the objects velocity from 3 minute per second into 7 minute per second find the magnitude of the applied force

Given that,

Mass = 5 kg , Time (t) = 2sec, Velocity final  (v) = 7 m/s & Initial(u) = 3 m/sec.

To find,

The force.

Solution,

We know that.

Force = m \times ( \frac{v-u}{t})

⇒  [tex]5\times \frac{7-3}{2} = 5\times \frac{4}{2}= 5\times 2 = 10 N. [/tex]

Therefore the force is 20 N.
