F = ma =mv - mu/t ( put a =v-u/t)
F*t = mv - mu
Here f= 12N and time t =45 s are given
Therfore put the values in the equation
12*45= 540 kg*m/s
Hence change in the linear movementum = 540kg*m/s is the answer
