Given:  Volume of Nitrogen Gas (v1) = 5 Litre

Temperature of Nitrogen gas (T1) = 25 Degree Celsius

Temperature after increasing = 35 Degree Celsius

To Find:

Volume after increasing the temperature

Calculating:

Converting Temperature of Nitrogen gas in  Kelvin Scale

= 25 + 273

= 298 K

Converting Temperature after increasing in Kelvin Scale

= 35 + 273 + 25

= 333 K

Here in this question we use Charles Law:

V1 / T1 = V2 / T2

Substituting all the values which are known to us in this formula we get:

5 / 298 = V2 / 333

5 x 333 = 298 V2

V2 = 5 x 333 / 298

V2 = 5.59 Litres

Therefore, the volume of the gas when the temperature is increased by 35 degree would be 5.59 Liters
